Effects Of Blood Sugar On Short-Term Memory
ResumeA new study in Neurology, the journal of the American Academy of Neurology, finds that even small elevations in blood sugar can influence short-term memory, decreasing our ability to do things like recall words.
The study fits with a larger body of evidence that finds elevated blood sugar puts people at higher risk of cognitive decline.
