Dearborn, Mich., has one of the highest populations of Arab Americans in the United States. This week, for the first time in the city's history, residents voted in a majority Arab American city council. Four out of the seven council seats will be held by Arab Americans.

Susan Dabaja was the top vote-getter, making her the president-elect. She joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson.
