A food drive at a Canton, Ohio, Walmart is creating an uproar because it's being organized to benefit Walmart employees.

Collection bins have been placed in an employee-only area of the store with a sign that reads “Please donate food items here so associates in need can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner.”

A photo of the bins taken by a store employee has gone viral on Facebook. Some employees say that if Walmart paid them more money, they wouldn't have to rely on food stamps.

A Walmart spokesman told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that this decision was made at the store level, and it's for associates who are dealing with hardships.
