General Motors Picks Mary Barra As CEO
ResumeGeneral Motors has chosen Mary Barra as its new CEO. Barra started working at GM as an electrical engineering co-op student in 1980 and moved up the ranks. She currently heads the company's product development division.
Barra, 51, will be the first woman to lead a U.S. car company. The decision comes one day after the government sold its last shares of GM.
