Tens of thousands of South Africans, alongside world leaders, former presidents and religious figures from around the globe, gathered under pouring rain in the First National Bank stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela.

President Obama spoke to the people of South Africa in remembrance of Nelson Mandela at the FNB stadium yesterday.
