As protesters continue to paralyze downtown Kiev, the European Union's foreign policy chief says Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych "intends to sign" a far-reaching trade and cooperation agreement with the E.U.

Signing would be an about-face for Yanukovych, since he rejected the deal last month after pressure from Russia. That decision has sparked mass protests in Kiev.
