Sen. Schumer Proposes To Delay Immigration Reform

Last week, Republican House Speaker John Boehner expressed doubts that immigration reform legislation would pass this year, and that President Obama would enforce any laws that might be approved.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” yesterday, Democratic Senator Charles Schumer offered a simple solution, suggesting that immigration reforms could be passed now, but enacted after Obama leaves office.
