Jury Expected To Begin Deliberations In 'Loud Music' Murder Trial

Lawyers for 47-year-old Michael Dunn argue that Dunn acted in self defense when he used lethal force to protect himself against 17-year-old Jordan Davis during a confrontation at a Jacksonville gas station two years ago, in a case that has reignited debate over Florida's Stand Your Ground law.

Dunn claims Davis got angry and pulled a gun after Dunn told the teenager and his friends to turn down the music on their car stereo. Davis died in a hail of bullets. No gun was found.

Florida's Stand Your Ground law first came to national prominence following the 2012 shooting death of an unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin, by a neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman. Davis' death came a few months after Martin's.

Zimmerman was acquitted on the second-degree murder charges.
