Valentine's Day is just two days away and according to the National Retail Federation, consumers will be spending less than last year.

Just 54 percent of Americans will celebrate the holiday, compared with 60 percent last year. Americans are expected to spend a total of $17.3 billion on gifts this year. Men are likely to spend twice as much as women on their significant other.

The Wall Street Journal's Jason Bellini joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss the downturn.
