After the announcement of a $45 billion deal between the country's top cable providers, Comcast and Time Warner, Comcast has been crafting a strategy for outreach in Washington.

The company has been sending out press releases, talking points and congressional lobbyists to try to sway opinion, according to Politico, in advance of public hearings.

The hearings are expected in coming months, as the Justice Department and Federal Communications Commission review the merger.

Antitrust lawyer David Balto joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti to discuss what regulators will be looking at when considering whether to approve the merger.
