Jason Collins made history last night. He is now the first openly gay player in the NBA.

The 35-year-old, 7-foot-tall center signed a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets and played 11 minutes against the Lakers last night in L.A.

Kevin Arnovitz, who covers the NBA for ESPN, joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson with details.
