States Look At Marijuana As Possible Revenue Source

One year after Colorado legalized marijuana for recreational use, other states are taking notice. Colorado expects a $134 million windfall of tax revenue this year.

Yet Mason Tvert of the Marijuana Policy Project, a pro-legalization lobbying group, says revenue isn't the main reason states should legalize marijuana.

He tells Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti that legitimizing the sale of marijuana and getting rid of the underground market are more important reasons for ending pot prohibition.
