U.S. Employers Add 175,000 Jobs In February
ResumeDespite a blast of winter weather this past month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today that employers added 175,000 jobs in February — an improvement from the previous two months.
Although the jobs number was better than economists had expected, the unemployment rate rose to 6.7 percent from 6.6 percent.
NPR's Chris Arnold joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss which sectors saw the most growth, and helps to explain this seemingly incongruous report.
