Crimea Votes On Its Future This Weekend
ResumeWith Russian troops in control of military bases in Ukraine's Crimea region, the people there are getting read to vote Sunday on whether they what to join Russia or have more independence from Kiev.
The West believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is making a power grab, but Putin says his move is a bid to protect the the ethnic Russians in Crimea, who make up the majority of the people in the region.
