President Obama begins a week of international travel today in the Netherlands. Although the president’s trip originally focused on the Nuclear Security Summit and a first-time meeting with the new pope, the trip is now largely overshadowed by the crisis in Ukraine.

Also this week, Congress returns to Washington after a week-long recess and is expected to debate a U.S. aid package to Ukraine.

This week also marks the last chance for the uninsured to enroll in Obamacare before the March 31st deadline.

NPR’s senior Washington editor Ron Elving discusses these stories with Here & Now's Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson.
