Health Care Deadline Might Be Extended For Some People
ResumeToday is the last day for most individuals to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
For weeks, administration officials have insisted that there would be no extensions to the scheduled end of the six-month open enrollment period; however, now it seems there is a bit of wiggle room.
This may come as good news to those who experienced glitches on the site this morning, due to heavy traffic.
NPR’s health policy correspondent Julie Rovner discusses the website glitches and clarifies the exceptions to the deadline.
