Nearly a year and a half after Hurricane Sandy, some homeowners on the Jersey Shore are finally seeing aid money come through state grants so they can begin to rebuild.

But that good news comes with a catch for people unable to live in their homes during construction. Their new headache is finding somewhere else to live just as the area's busy summer tourism season gets started.

From the Here & Now Contributors Network, Tracey Samuelson of WHYY explains.

Host Meghna Chakarbarti then turns to David Leonetti, owner of LBI House Raising in Ship Bottom, New Jersey, to get a contractor's perspective on how construction is going and how federal funding has affected business.
