Officials In Egypt Try To Salvage Election

Voting has been extended another day as the country tries to elect a new president. The voting was supposed to be over by today, but concerns about a low turnout caused officials to keep the polls open for an extra day.

Former Field Marshal Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is expected to win but his supporters are worried that a victory won't be seen as a mandate unless the turnout is better. The BBC's Middle East Correspondent Kevin Connolly reports from Cairo.
