Syrian Refugee Children Leave Camp To Perform Shakespeare02:27

Syria votes today in a presidential election, which many observers believe will do little to end the country's three year civil conflict.

Opposition activists estimate that more than 150,000 people have been killed in the fighting which has displaced 9,000,000 people — almost 3,000,000 of whom have fled to neighboring countries.

Jordan is now home to about 600,000 Syrian refugees. About 150,000 of them are in the Zaatari camp, which means that the base is, in effect, Jordan's fourth largest city.

A group of refugee children who live in the Zaatari camp recently traveled to the capital Amman to perform some Shakespeare plays. BBC correspondent Rafid Jaboori went along to the performance.
