Pakistan's military is calling on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take a tougher stance against terrorists, including more punitive strikes, after a brazen attack on the Karachi airport this week.

Sharif met with military leaders in a meeting yesterday, and his office says he'll decide how to go forward in coming days.

Thomas Johnson, director of the Program for Culture and Conflict Studies at the Naval Postgraduate School, discusses the Pakistani Taliban with Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson.
