Soft drinks have been dropping in popularity in recent years. They've been blamed for the increase in obesity and diabetes, and many consumers are turning to other beverages.

U.S. soda sales have fallen every year for the last nine years, and Coca-Cola is trying to turn things around. That's according to a new Bloomberg Businessweek piece called "Coke Confronts Its Big Fat Problem."

Claire Suddath co-authored the story and joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss soda-drinking trends and what Coca-Cola is doing to solve its image crisis.
