The residents of Saratoga, Wyoming, have just 10 days left to voice their opinion on the environmental impact of a new 1,000-turbine wind farm. If the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre wind energy project gets final approval, it would become the largest wind farm in the country.

Since Wyoming has an abundance of energy, the utility company is looking to sell the wind-generated power to other states. But for now, there is no infrastructure in place to do that. From the Here & Now Contributors Network, Leigh Paterson of Inside Energy reports on why transmission gridlocks are keeping so much western wind at bay.
