President Obama will give a rare primetime address tonight, to lay out his plan for fighting the extremist group calling itself the Islamic State, and is also known as ISIS.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll indicates that he will be speaking to a sympathetic audience: nearly two-thirds of Americans believe that it is in the country's interest to take military action against ISIS.
