The NFL is asking former FBI director Robert Mueller to conduct an investigation into how the League dealt with former Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice after footage showed him punching and dragging his unconscious fiancee Janay Palmer — who is now his wife — out of an Atlantic City casino elevator.

The NFL initially suspended Rice for two games, but after video showing Rice punching Palmer became public, the Baltimore Ravens released him and the NFL suspended him indefinitely. The NFL says it hadn't seen or wasn't aware of that video.

Here & Now sports analyst Mike Pesca joins Jeremy Hobson to discuss the investigation, which will be overseen by two NFL owners.
