Obama Will Address Global Crises At United Nations
ResumePresident Obama faces many global challenges at this week's United Nation's General Assembly.
He will preside over the UN Security Council and push for a resolution that would require countries to prosecute citizens who travel abroad to join terrorist groups.
He will also attend meetings on climate change, Ebola and discuss Russian adventurism in Ukraine and violence between Israelis and the Palestinians.
NPR's senior Washington editor Ron Elving joins Here & Now's Robin Young to discuss what to expect at the General Assembly.
