Unemployment Rate Falls Below Six Percent

For the first time in more than six years, the unemployment rate has fallen to below six percent.

According to the monthly report released by the The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate in September fell from 6.1 percent to 5.9 percent.
