It's believed up to 200 Kosovars could be fighting with militant groups like ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Kosovo is a majority Muslim country, with a tradition of religious tolerance. It's also perhaps Europe's most pro-American country after NATO's intervention against Serbian forces in 1999 forged the new republic.

How could extremism have been fostered in this small, Balkan nation? The BBC’s Linda Pressly reports.
