Freezing Cold Weather Heads To Lower 48

Alaska's Aleutian Islands were spared the brunt of the remnants of Typhoon Nuri, but now extreme cold weather is headed to the lower 48 states.

Temperatures may dip 20 to 40 degrees below average. The storm has already dumped more than 3 inches in North Dakota.
