Thanksgiving means food, but it also means football. There are traditional rivalry games across the country throughout the weekend, especially when it comes to college football.

Among the games are tilts between Mississippi and Mississippi State, Florida and Florida State and Auburn and Alabama.

Besides the normal passion the fans of those teams bring to the games, those three could all affect the national championship race, which this year will be decided by an actual playoff for the first time.

That's because Florida State, Alabama and Mississippi State are among the top four teams in the country. Here & Now's Robin Young talks to college football analyst John Bacon about how the season is going.
