President Obama will finish up 2014 with his annual end-of-year press conference. He's expected to cover a wide range of this year's events, including:

  • The U.S. restoring relations with Cuba.
  • A U.S. response to the hack on Sony and whether North Korea was behind it.
  • The president's sweeping executive orders to defer deportation of more than 4 million immigrants.
  • The White House draft plan to rate the performance quality of 5,000 colleges and universities.
  • The fight against the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or ISIS.
  • The protests for improved race relations and against police overreach after the events of Ferguson, Missouri.
  • Ending U.S. combat operations in Afghanistan.
  • The Senate "torture report" on the CIA.
