The week in politics begins with the release of President Obama's $4 trillion budget today, which Republicans are already slamming for its proposal to tax the inheritances of the wealthy in order to support tax breaks for the struggling middle class.

NPR's Charlie Mahtesian joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss that, as well as which of the Republican presidential hopefuls are gaining traction, after Mitt Romney's withdrawal on Friday from presidential politics.
