Sabrina Brasier is a senior at Oconto Falls High School in Oconto, Wisconsin. In April she will be hosting 1,000 student council leaders taking part in a statewide conference of the Wisconsin Association of Student Councils.

Brasier has been fundraising and organizing for that big event, while also making sure that her school's dress code allows for students to wear blankets if need be in class, because classrooms in her school can sometimes be too cold.

She tells Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson that she got into student government while recuperating from a sports injury.
