The Missouri Supreme Court has placed a state judge in charge of all municipal cases in Ferguson, Missouri. This comes after Judge Ronald Brockmeyer of Ferguson municipal court resigned, just one week after the Department of Justice released a scathing report on city and court practices.

Brockmeyer was accused of bringing in revenue for the court and city through the use of "creative" fines and fees. It also revealed the police and court used discriminatory practices against African-Americans.

Reporter Jennifer Mann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has been covering the story and joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson with details on Brockmeyer's resignation.
