This week, Starbucks is trying to get its customers to talk about race.

The coffee chain is teaming up with USA Today and instructing baristas at 12,000 Starbucks locations to write "race together" on their cups.

USA Today is also co-authoring with Starbucks a special section on race that will be out this Friday.

CEO Howard Schultz told reporters, "We are living in a time where leadership has to come from different places," and the move is less motivated by stock prices and marketing, but rather corporate responsibility and leadership.

Jason Bellini of the Wall Street Journal speaks to Here & Now's Robin Young about what a move like this does mean from a business perspective.
