Measure In Oregon Could Boost Number Of Registered Voters

The number of registered voters in Oregon could soon increase dramatically.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed into law this week a first-of-its-kind measure that will automatically register eligible voters when they get a drivers' license and renew their licenses.

Oregon elections officials estimate the new policy will add about 300,000 new voters over the next several years.
