The 2015 Major League Baseball season opens Sunday night with the St. Louis Cardinals playing the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The rest of the teams open their seasons Monday.

If you go by the Las Vegas odds, the Washington Nationals (5 to 1) are the favorites to win the World Series this year, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers (8 to 1), Los Angeles Angels (12 to 1), St. Louis Cardinals (13 to 1), and the Boston Red Sox (14 to 1).

But the Sporting News picks the Cubs to win it all, something that hasn't happened since 1908. The San Francisco Giants are the defending champions.

Doug Tribou of NPR’s Only A Game joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson to talk about the upcoming baseball season.
