U.S. Airlines Prepare For Record Number Of Passengers This Summer
ResumeAirlines in the U.S. are expected to see 4.5 percent more passengers than last year, a record number, according to the industry trade group Airlines for America.
From June through August, about 2.4 million passengers a day are expected to fly on airlines in the U.S., and in response, airlines are working to increase the seats they have available by more than 4 percent this summer.
