Paramedics See Roles Expand To Keep Patients Out Of ER

In Reno and around the country, paramedics are providing more primary and preventive care and taking non-emergency patients to facilities other than emergency rooms. It's part of a pilot project to test new models of emergency medicine, including making changes to the country's 911 system. Anna Gorman of Kaiser Health News has our story.
