Deadline Looms For Iranian Nuclear Deal
ResumeThe Associated Press has obtained a confidential document that shows the U.S. and other nations are ready to offer peaceful nuclear technology to Iran, if that country agrees to crimp programs that can produce nuclear weapons.
The information in the document comes as Iran continues to take a hard line against some of the key U.S. demands for a deal, including the inspection of Iran's military sites. The deadline to reach a deal is June 30, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding a hearing on the issue tomorrow.
Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with security analyst Jim Walsh of MIT's Security Studies Program, who will testify before the committee.
