South Carolina Senate Votes To Take Down Confederate Flag

After impassioned debate yesterday, state senators in South Carolina today gave final approval to a measure to take down the Confederate flag flying near the State House, and send it to the Confederate Relic Room in the state's military history museum.

But the measure faces an uncertain future in the South Carolina House. Ben Bradford, a reporter for WFAE, joins Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd to talk about the debate in South Carolina.
