PlayAerial surveys in California show more than 20 million trees have died across the state and scientists say the death rate is accelerating. Drought is not the only stressor killing trees; they're also falling victim to the pine beetle and wildfires. Amy Quinton of Capitol Public Radio reports that if this continues, the forests of California could become desert.
