Paul Ryan Starts Laying Foundations Of His Speakership

Newly-minted Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has been keeping busy during his first few days on the job.

He laid out his plans for speakership on five different Sunday news shows yesterday, declaring that he would not work with President Barack Obama on immigration policy.

NPR’s Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson to discuss what this may indicate about Ryan’s work style as speaker.
