The United States has seen an increase in anti-Muslim attacks and protests since the terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, and since Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called for a temporary ban of new Muslim immigrants and visitors to the country.

Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center, speaks with Here & Now's Eric Westervelt about the increase.
