Globe Editor Steps Into The 'Spotlight'
Play
The film "Spotlight" is up for six Academy Awards this Sunday, including Best Picture. The movie is based on the investigative reporting done in 2001 by the Boston Globe’s Spotlight team into sexual abuse by Catholic priests, and explores and how that abuse was covered up by the Boston archdiocese.
We revisit Here & Now host Robin Young’s November conversation with Walter Robinson, who headed up the Spotlight unit in 2001, about the film and the work of the real Spotlight team.
