Twitter, Instagram Users Bemoan Algorithmic Timelines
ResumeThis week, Twitter changed users' feeds from listing tweets in chronological order to an order based on what Twitter believes the user most wants to see - for example, tweets from accounts the user interacts with the most.
Instagram also says it plans to move from chronological timelines to algorithmic timelines. Many users on both Twitter and Instagram aren't happy about it. Julia Turner of Slate joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti with details.
