Better Flood Forecasting Methods Are In The Works

In Houston, seven people are now confirmed dead in the historic flooding that hit the region early Monday morning. The National Weather Service had issued flash flood warnings, but a new forecasting system that uses a “super computer” could be a vast improvement.
