The Middle Class Is Shrinking In Cities Across U.S.
ResumeThe American middle class has been shrinking since 2000, but according to new analysis by Pew Research Center, it’s shrinking not just in economically troubled areas, but in most major metropolitan areas, too. Cities with more income inequality usually have smaller middle classes, which means that families are either moving up or down the economic ladder.
