Vice President Joe Biden says the nation owes it to future generations to speed up the progress on fighting cancer. Biden spoke at Howard University today at a Cancer Moonshot Summit, one of a series of nationwide events detailing his initiative.

David Nather, Washington editor at STAT, a publication on health and medicine issues, was at the event, and tells Here & Now's Robin Young about what's ahead for the Cancer Moonshot program.
