The trials come as Miami works to contain a small, local outbreak of the virus. But a vaccine that's available to the public is still likely a year away.

Here & Now's Eric Westervelt gets the latest on vaccine trials, and the local transmission of Zika in Miami, from Andrew Joseph, a reporter at the health and medicine publication STAT.
