21st Century Fox, Fox News' parent company, said today that it has settled a lawsuit by its former anchor Gretchen Carlson, for $20 million, and apologized to her for how she was treated while at the network.
Two months ago, Carlson sued now-former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, alleging sexual harassment. Since then, a number of other women have also stepped forward with sexual harassment claims.
Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks with NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik about the settlement, and Fox News' announcement today that longtime host Greta Van Susteren is leaving the network.
